We did not build ZiZi a website. We built her a business: registration, brand, site, booking, and an operations system she owns outright. That let a part-time side income grow close to eight times over while she kept a full-time job and stayed in school.
There’s a hype that says you can’t build a real business around a real life.
ZiZi had every reason to believe it. She’s been a veterinary technician for ten years and she’s a part-time student working toward veterinary medicine. She was already caring for pets she loved, but the whole operation lived in her head and her phone: three families, booked by word of mouth, tracked by memory.
She didn’t need a pep talk. She needed the thing built. So we built it, the business and the system that runs it, and handed her the keys.
01 · The buildEverything a service business needs to exist and get booked
This wasn’t a logo and a landing page. A pet parent had to be able to find her, trust her, and book a visit, and ZiZi had to be able to run the day without rebuilding her process for every new client. Both halves got built at once.
- 01Registering the businessWe walked ZiZi from idea to a properly registered company. That’s the foundation everything else sits on, and it’s what lets her sign clients and take payment as a business instead of a favor.
- 02Turning her services into things people can buyWe shaped what she already did into three clear packages, Boarding, Pop-Ins, and Pop-In Party Events, and priced them for her market so a pet parent can pick one without a phone call.
- 03Brand and logoWe cleaned up her logo and built one consistent look, the bold pink and gold, so the website, the social pages, and her paperwork all read as the same company.
- 04Website, domain, and hostingWe designed and launched the site, registered the domain, and set up the hosting. It works on a phone, and every page points a visitor toward booking a visit.
- 05Signup forms and a welcome that sends itselfNew clients fill out one form, and the welcome email goes out on its own. Nobody has to remember to follow up, and no new client falls through.
- 06One place to run the businessWe set up Pet Pocketbook, booking software built for pet care, and loaded her packages into it. Bookings, client records, and payments all run through one place she controls.

The customer-facing brand and the back office were built to tell the same story. A pet parent lands on a warm, finished site, books in a few taps, and flows straight into the signup and scheduling system ZiZi runs, without her reinventing the process for every new client.

About five months to pay for itself
At $2,000 a month, the business earns back the full $10,600 build value in roughly five months, then keeps going.
$24,000 a year and climbing
A one-time build now underwrites a recurring, part-time income she can scale on her own terms.
03 · What matters mostShe owns it
Growth is the headline. Control is the story. ZiZi went from 3 consistent families to 23 households and 33 pets, close to eight times the work, on the same system we launched, for over a year, with no rebuild. The structure held while the business scaled.
She’s considering taking the business full time, and she gets to choose. Everything we built is one hundred percent hers. That’s not a client who depends on us to keep the lights on. That’s an owner we set free.
She booked her first customers through the system within two weeks of launch. Idea to registered business took two to three months. A year later it’s still running, and still growing.
- Upgrading the website now that the demand and the operating history are proven.
- Adding ZiZi’s approved testimonial and written permission for the revenue figure before this page is promoted.
