Good morning from All Hype Digital.

Quick question: how many quotes have you sent in the last month that you never heard back on? Now here’s the uncomfortable part. Most of those weren’t lost to price. They were lost to silence. You quoted once, waited for them to call, and they got busy. The business that texted them on day three got the job. Today’s edition is about making sure that business is you, without you having to remember a thing.

The one idea for today

Follow-up isn’t a chore you’ll get to. It’s where most of your revenue is hiding. Roughly half of all sales go to whoever follows up first and most, yet most people quit after one touch. The fix isn’t more discipline (you’ll always be too busy on a job to remember). The fix is a sequence that remembers for you: a set of pre-written messages that fire automatically after someone becomes a lead.

The 5-touch sequence to steal

Automated text and email follow-up sending from a phone

Write these once and let them run for every lead:

  • Within 5 minutes: “Thanks for reaching out, here’s what’s next.” Speed wins the job.
  • Day 1: the quote plus one line of proof (a review, a photo, a guarantee).
  • Day 3: a short human nudge. “Making sure this didn’t get buried. Any questions?”
  • Day 7: handle the silent objection (price, timing, trust) head-on.
  • Day 14: the soft close. “I’ll keep your info on file. Reach out anytime.”

That’s it. Five messages, fourteen days, every lead, forever.

Make it run without you

Two tools do the heavy lifting. Close catches every lead in one pipeline and nudges you when a follow-up is due, so the fast, personal touches (1 and 3) never get dropped. GetResponse sends the email touches (2, 4, and 5) automatically as a visual flow. Set it up once and every new lead drops into the same proven sequence, whether you’re on a roof or asleep.

Start smaller than that, though. Write touch 1 and touch 3 today and send them by hand to every new lead this week. You’ll book jobs you were losing, then automate it once you feel the difference.
