How we choose the technology
We do not start by selling a framework. We ask what needs to happen in real time, what should happen automatically, where a human still needs to approve the decision, which data must remain reliable, who needs access to what, what happens when an API or AI model fails, which existing tools should stay, and what must be measurable.
Depending on the system, our builds may use platforms such as Vercel, Convex, Inngest, Mastra, Ollama, OpenAI/OpenRouter, Clerk, Resend, PostHog and Sentry. Those platforms are implementation choices — not the product.
AI where it helps. Deterministic code where it should.
AI is useful for interpretation, classification, generation, research and reasoning. It is usually the wrong tool for arithmetic, permissions, billing rules, state transitions and other work that should produce the same answer every time. We design systems that combine both.
