💡 The big idea: the calendar just gave you a free audit excuse

Six months of 2026 are in the books. Whatever your marketing did — or didn’t do — the receipts are in: the reviews you collected, the leads you answered (or didn’t), the emails you never sent. Mid-year is the one moment the calendar hands you a clean line between “what we tried” and “what we’ll do differently.” Most owners skip it and repeat January. Don’t.

✅ Three takeaways from today’s checkup

  • Visibility first. Search your service + city on your phone. If you’re not in the map pack, nothing else on your to-do list matters yet.
  • Test your own machine. Submit your contact form. Time your site load on cellular. Dead forms and slow pages are silent H1 killers.
  • Fix three, not twelve. Pick the three items that made you wince, calendar them for next week, ignore the rest until August. Momentum beats completeness.

⏱️ 5-minute quick win

Open your Google Business Profile and post one thing right now: a July photo, a holiday-weekend hours update, anything. A profile touched today outranks one last touched in March.
